We’re pleased you’ve found us. We are the North West (UK) chapter of the Change Management Institute.

We are a cutting-edge group of change management professionals leading and supporting local practitioners. Our focus is to elevate our industry practices and ensure that all visitors and members are inspired to take their skills to the next level. It’s our desire to inspire excellence and ensure that you have the means to reach your career goals. So regardless of whether you are after new thinking, a mentor, or looking to have your practices independently assessed and endorsed, we are here to help you.

Our members are professionals from government agencies, corporations, not-for-profit groups and professional consultancies. Members may be at different stages of their professional careers, so we mutually support one another to meet common goals.

By joining you get to engage with us locally at events, build your networks and access the global thinking and white papers available exclusively to members. There are plenty of learning and development opportunities available for all learning styles too!

A bit more about us

We are passionate about the North West and want to create a unique and professional network backed by the professional standards and credibility of the Change Management Institute. We aim to provide stimulating and thought-provoking events for our members and guests.

We are keen to meet as many of you as possible, whatever your interest in Change Management may be. Perhaps you are an academic, a freelance consultant, a student or corporate Change Manager, or perhaps this is all new to you. We aim to bring everyone who has an enthusiasm about change management together to talk about this professional discipline whether you are just setting out in Change or are an ‘old timer’.

We have a dynamic and proactive team of volunteers organising our activities. We welcome new volunteers, please contact us if you’re interested in joining the team.

Chapter leadership

Craig Stewart, Chapter Lead

Craig is a certified IT Change Manager with a significant experience of ITIL and Project Methodologies.  He has experience of working in complex change programmes such as 2500 desktop replacements throughout the UK, rollout of SharePoint across 650 sites. Craig is passionate about Change Management and he is looking to expand his knowledge and experience with the people side of change management.

Craig was involved with the Change Management Institute originally in Newcastle and attended the events and when he moved to Manchester he was approached to assist in the North West Chapter.

He wants to meet change professionals and like minded individuals to share ideas, experience and knowledge and to assist the chapter in becoming a part of the Northern Powerhouse.

    About Barbara

    Barbara Collins is a seasoned change management professional with over 25 years of experience in delivering complex transformational change for global organizations. With experience from Financial Services, FMCG, Government and Retail, she has successfully led strategic, regulatory, technology, and people-led initiatives across multiple continents, including large-scale ERP implementations and organizational redesign projects.

    Her international experience has equipped her with a unique perspective on managing change in diverse cultural environments. She holds certifications in Prosci ADKAR, Prince2, and Managing Successful Programmes, and previously served as the UK Co-Lead of the Change Management Institute.
