Made Smarter Innovation: Centre for People-Led Digitalisation

Join us on a revolutionary digital journey – Change Management Institute partners with the Made Smarter Innovation: Centre for People-Led Digitalisation

We are thrilled to share some exciting news as we have joined forces with Universities of Bath, Loughborough and Nottingham on a significant project, the “Made Smarter Innovation: Centre for People-Led Digitalisation.” This initiative, focusing on integrating people-centred approaches in digital manufacturing, is set to be transformative, backed by a substantial budget of £5 million and spanning until February 2025.

Exploring the project

At the heart of this collaboration is the recognition that the success of digital transformation in manufacturing hinges on prioritising people. The research project aims to develop solutions that not only advance technology but also enhance the capabilities and involvement of those who are integral to the industry.

A unique approach to digitalisation

The challenge in modernising manufacturing lies in addressing the human element of technology adoption. This project addresses critical areas such as narrowing the digital skills gap, aligning new technologies with human skills, and securing the commitment of both employees and management.

Upcoming events

We are excited to bring the findings and discussions to you through two key events planned in London and Glasgow. These events will provide a platform to discuss the ongoing research and explore the future of digitalisation in the manufacturing sector.
