Elections for the Board of Directors take place in the 4th quarter of each calendar year. Under the constitution Board roles run for two years with four positions coming up for election each year. The board is made up of 4 statutory roles and 4 General Directors with designated portfolios. All of the Directors are voluntary and unpaid roles.
The current positions and the respective incumbents are:
Steffi Jackson has been with the Institute since 2018, first supporting key Strategic Initiatives and since 2021 as the first CEO of the Institute.
With over 16 years of Consulting, Business and Change Management experience, Steffi has a passion for Enterprise Change Management and Organisational Change Maturity.
Before joining the Institute, Steffi had the opportunity to set up and lead the Change Management functions for two Australian Financial Services Businesses.
Karla is an experienced board member and transformation specialist, with a passion for strategy, change, portfolio, and program management.
Karla’s first volunteer role with the Change Management Institute was in 2009. Since this time, Karla has been a Chapter Lead, Country Lead and has served on the board for two terms.
Over 20+ years, Karla has led many transformations across multiple industries to deliver real results. This includes mergers and acquisitions, organisational model redesign, restructures, cultural change, digital transformation, whole of Government reform, start-ups and more.
Karla has 13 years of consulting experience, 7 years in senior leadership roles and 8 years in Non-Executive Director board roles.
Karla is an Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) graduate and member. Karla has also studied a Master of Business Administration (MBA), Bachelor of Business and holds other specialist qualifications in change, project management and leadership.
Abimbola Oyekoya first volunteered with the Change Management Institute in 2020, she has served as a Chapter lead, Country Operation team and co-designed the Institutes DE&I strategy. She was a contributor to the CMI CMBoK 2nd edition and has added value at several Events and Global Panel sessions.
Abimbola has extensive experience and proven successes in effecting change through design, delivery, and implementation. She provides hands-on consultancy encompassing engaging with and delighting clients with high value delivery.
She has over 20 years work experience commencing work with two entrepreneur parents. Her Professional roles include Change manager, Management Consultant, Client Portfolio Manager, Team Leader, Benefit Manager, Policy & Process Manager, and Benefits Capability lead; all roles that require a change leader’s mindset for effective and efficient delivery.
Her background in management consulting, project delivery and ethos of knowledge transfer and continuous improvement works well with her passion for delivering customer value.
Abimbola is passionate about ensuring ‘the right change’ is delivered in the most effective way to create value for key stakeholders.
Abimbola is an enthusiastic role model and mentor and founded The Better Tribe Community to support Families migrating into the UK to successfully transition through the substantial change.
Rebecca is a business transformation leader who brings over 20+ years of experience in strategy development, operating model design, and optimising strategic execution and change delivery (Governance, ePMO offerings, and Project and Change Management). With extensive experience in large-scale transformation programs, Rebecca has helped organisations scale their operations, streamline ways of working, enhance culture and capability, and align and improve their products, services, processes, and technology to meet strategic objectives.
She has built her experience working across a range of industries in Board and leadership roles (both in-house and consulting), including health, education, insurance, financial services, transport and logistics, government, professional services, and beauty, across New Zealand, Australia, and Asia.
Rebecca holds an Executive Master of Business (First Class Honors) and is recognised for her thought leadership in strategy execution and change management, particularly in addressing the challenges of aligning culture with strategic aspiration.
Karthik is a CPA-qualified professional with 15 plus years of commercial experience spanning product and service sectors. Karthik is currently the Principal at FinXLNS, which he founded in 2018.
Throughout his career, Karthik has been deeply involved in large-scale business transformation initiatives, which has shaped his strong appreciation for the impact of strategic and effective management of organizational change.
In addition to his CPA qualifications, Karthik also has a Master of Accountancy degree from University of South Australia and Bachelor of Commerce degree from University of Madras, India.
Naomi is a recent graduate of the Australian Company Directors. She has been a member since 2008 and has been active as a volunteer as Chapter Lead and on the national Country committee in Australia.
Naomi assisted in setting up our Heads of Change forums and also created a podcast series interviewing a number of the our Accredited Change Professionals to glean their career insights to help others in their careers.
Naomi has embraced the opportunity to put her newly acquired governance skills to work in the Board Secretary role. Naomi is based in Tasmania, Australia.
Barbara Collins is a seasoned change management professional with over 25 years of experience in delivering complex transformational change for global organizations. With experience from Financial Services, FMCG, Government and Retail, she has successfully led strategic, regulatory, technology, and people-led initiatives across multiple continents, including large-scale ERP implementations and organizational redesign projects.
Her international experience has equipped her with a unique perspective on managing change in diverse cultural environments. She holds certifications in Prosci ADKAR, Prince2, and Managing Successful Programmes, and previously served as the UK Co-Lead of the Change Management Institute.
Elizabeth has been a volunteer since 2012 when she supported the creation of a change community in New Zealand. Elizabeth has undertaken post graduate study in governance and served on the Board of Directors previously for two terms.
Elizabeth assisted in the changes to constitution in 2021 and was active in the Board Standards Sub Committee which oversaw the update of the competency models. Elizabeth is based Auckland in New Zealand.
Bronwyn has been a volunteer with the Institute since 2019. She has served the last four years as Country Lead in Ireland and has grown the Institute’s presence there.
Bronwyn has worked with the Institute of Chartered Accountants and is passionate about our by member for member foundations. Bronwyn is an Accredited Change Professional Specialist and a strong advocate for accreditation. Bronwyn is based in Dublin, Ireland.
