We are a cutting-edge group of change management professionals leading and supporting local practitioners. Our focus is to elevate our industry practices and ensure that all visitors and members are inspired to take their skills to the next level. It’s our desire to inspire excellence and ensure that you have the means to reach your career goals. So regardless of whether you are after new thinking, a mentor, or looking to have your practices independently assessed and endorsed, we are here to help you.

Our members are professionals from government agencies, corporations, not-for-profit groups and professional consultancies. Members may be at different stages of their professional careers, so we mutually support one another to meet common goals.

By joining you get to engage with us locally at events, build your networks and access the global thinking and white papers available exclusively to members. There are plenty of learning and development opportunities available for all learning styles too!

A bit more about us

The Wellington Chapter Committee are focused on delivering a series of interesting, thought-provoking and enjoyable events to our change management community in Wellington. Potential topics include building internal change capability, the interplay between project management and change management, change at a strategic or enterprise level.  We’ll be providing a range of events at different times of the day to ensure there is something for everyone.

We have a well-established government community of practice group established and meeting which meets every six weeks. This is a great forum for professional support and learning.

Chapter leadership

Lydia Harris – Chapter Lead

Lydia has been consulting in the Change Management space for close to 20 years across NZ and Australia, in a variety of sectors. Her experience includes portfolio management, transformations, ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and culture and behaviour initiatives.  For the past few years, she has been helping organisations build change management maturity through reinvention of their change strategy and purpose with a focus on building leadership capability and frameworks. She works at an enterprise level and helps executive teams make the best decisions on capacity and achievability across their delivery plans.

Lydia is an assessor for The Treasury’s ICR (Investor Confidence Rating), assessing the organisational change management maturity component for investment-intensive agencies across New Zealand.  She is also an Accredited Change Manager Master level and has spoken at Project Management and Change Management Conferences, so when it comes to change, she certainly digs, ‘the why’. Everything she does is done with a dash of humour, a smidgen of random and a bucketful of purpose.
